As I was there to see RC Lens play football the location was absolutely perfect, being just the other side of the car park. It was also an excellent base for visiting the local battlefields at Vimy Ridge and Loos.
It was easy to locate, and with me being English, I found the staff to be very courteous and friendly. The food was very good for an A-La-Carte menu, with a very wide selection.
I booked for a party of 7 for France vs Wales at Stadium Bollaert on Sat 20th October. The hotel was competatively priced and ideally located very near to the stadium. The rooms were adequate for a short stay with minimum luggage. We were well looked after by the staff. Although we did not use the restaurant it looked impressive and up to its 3 star billing.
The beds were a little narrow in the twin rooms
a stopover on way to south of france very very basic but clean secured garage parking lot
bed not so comfortable but was not expecting much as only overnight stop - arrived midnight and left at 7am
Lovely hotel with a great breakfast! It was very close to everything. They also had parking but you did have to pay for it. The hotel was very clean and lovely.
Car parking was excellent. Location for us was very good as it was half way between two intended locations . Breakfast was very good and service was efficient . Restaurant was closed on Saturday evening but a quick easy walk to Restaurant Le Cigalon which was very good .
Location for tunnel connections to uk
Restaurant not open on Sunday night, which could possibly be expected out of season bu,t no mention was made of this when booking. Only one recommendation made for a restaurant which was very basic and particularly tacky looking. We finally made our way to the town centre and found somewhere worth eating at. Breakfast at 9 euros was a rip off
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful with storing our bicycles.
Very cramped dorm like room. Easily the worst room we stayed at on our trip. Played very loud radio music in restaurant and did not appreciate being asked to turn it down and would not. So we did not eat dinner there and went somewhere else.
The facilities and standard of this hotel was poor for a 3 star hotel. No coffee or tea making facilities or hairdryer in the room, I could go on.
Friendly and the rooms very clean, beds clean and comfortable. Recommended for short business trips. Good value for money.
It is very close to the new museum Louvre Lens (10 minutes walking distance)
